I’m a fan of Webkinz. Ever since my son got one for his birthday, I have been enjoying watching him play the online games.

I’ve used Webkinz to teach him about money. (He earns Kinzcash and then spends it…so I teach him how to save up for something he wants.) Plus it’s just cool to watch him get better at the video games, figuring out problem-solving, increasing his eye-hand coordination and fine-motor skills, in a safe kid-friendly environment.

EVERY ONCE in a while we get him a new one. We don’t collect them all and don’t spoil him by smothering him in plushies. But there is a new one that looks really cool that we’ll have to get: the tiger snake.
